By joining and borrowing books from the Murmur Library, you agree to the following terms and conditions: Eligibility Membership to Murmur Library is open to all individuals within the local community. Membership is free of charge. You must provide accurate contact details and any required information when signing up to borrow books. Borrowing Process Borrowing is currently available in person or through local delivery. You must follow the borrowing process outlined by the library, including filling out the borrowing card with your name and the date of borrowing. You are responsible for ensuring the borrowing card is placed in the borrowing card box. Borrowing Duration The borrowing period is 4 weeks. You may renew your borrowed book if no other members have reserved it. Return Policy Books must be returned on or before the due date to ensure availability for other members. Late returns may be subject to restrictions on future borrowing privileges. Care of Books Borrowers are expected to take reasonable care of the books during the borrowing period. Books should be returned in the same condition as they were borrowed. Privacy & Data Use The library will handle all personal information in accordance with our privacy policy. We will use your contact details solely for the purpose of managing your borrowing account. Library Conduct Borrowers are expected to engage with the library and other members respectfully and responsibly. Any behavior that disrupts the library environment or other members may result in suspension of borrowing privileges. Liability Murmur Library is not liable for any damages, loss, or injury resulting from the use of library books or resources. Amendments The library reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes.
